● Teaching procedures
Step 1 Revision
1.检查口语作业,两人一组表演87课的第一部分对话。
2.复习 What day is it today/tomorrow?
3.复习the days of the week.
Step 2 Word families
告诉学生:半元音字母y在元音字母前通常发/ j /音,在重读音节辅音字母后发/ai/音,在非重读音节中发短音/ i /.
Step 3 Word stress
第二部分:Students listen and repeat. Get them to say where the stress.
Step 4 Stress and intonation
1.合上书,放第三部分录音,让学生注意听每个句子的重读,再放一遍,学生重复,用手势指出重读。
2.告诉学生语调是表示说话者在陈述一件事情、询问一个问题或表达说话者的情感。

1.让学生听录音,跟读。
2.给两分钟时间出声读,然后回答教师就本段提出的一些问题。如:
