Lesson 60教案示例

  Teaching Objectives:

  1.掌握就餐用语;

  2.了解英国人所喜爱的传统食品,能够叙述中国的食品。

  Language Focus:

  take a seat  home cooking  something English 

  It must be delicious. Would you like anything else?

  Properties: Tape-recorder, Overhead projector     

  Teaching Procedures:

  Step 1 Revision

  Revise either. . . or. . . ; neither. . . nor. . . .

  Neither you nor I agree with him.

  Either I’m at home, or I’m at school.

  Step 2 Read and act

  Play the tape for the students, and ask What are they eating for dinner. (fish and chips)

  1. Where are they?

  2. Who are they?

  3. What kind?

  4. Who would like tea?

  5. Is there any milk or sugar in it?

  6. Who likes Chinese tea without anything in it?

  7. And who’s going to have something English?

  8. What’s Ann’s favourite?

  9. Is that a take-away food?

  10. Who invites them to have some apple pies?

  Keys:

  1. At Ann’s house. 2. Ann, Ann’s mother and Chen. 3. Friends’ meet. 4. Chen. 5. No, she likes nothing in the tea. 6. Chen does.  7. Ann is. 8. Fish and chips. 9. It’s not take-away food.   It’s just home cooking.  10. Mum does. But Chen is already full.

  Explain much too/ too much

  Get the students to form into several groups. Let them play the roles they like.

  Step 3 Practice

  In small groups role-play a parent and a son/daughter who has a foreign friend over for dinner. Remind the students to use the phrases from Lesson 57 Part 3.

  Step 4 Listening

  Play the tape for the students to listen. Play it three times. Then ask the students to do the exercise on page 64 of the workbook.

  Step 5 Read and act

  Play the tape for the students to listen and repeat.

  Then in three groups, have the students read and act out the dialogue.

  Step 6 Writing

  总结简单句的五种基本句型,并让学生说出一些属于这些类型的句子。

  归纳关于邀请用餐的交际用语。
