Lesson 71教案示例

  Teaching Objectives:

  掌握情态动词have tomust的运用;

  掌握系动词taste, look, seem, feel, be, smell等的用法;

  了解南丁格尔和白求恩的故事,向名人学习。

  Language Focus:

  It tastes delicious/smells good/feel hard/is high.

  She looks young/seems angry

  Properties: Recorder, Overhead projector, 视频和动画

  Teaching Procedures:

  Step 1 Revision

  1. Revise the usage of have to.

  2. Revise the new vocabulary by asking the students to share the dreams they wrote down.

  Step 2 Practise

  让学生观看书上的图,或是教师另准备一些食品图,首先让学生说出这些食品。拿出一张chocolate图片,问学生是否喜欢吃,然后说I like to eat chocolate. It tastes delicious, but I mustn’t eat too much. Because I went to see the doctor yesterday. He said I was a little heavy. 然后让学生谈谈Which foods mustn’t you eat too much of?

  Read the dialogue and practise it in pairs.

  Ask the students to make a new one.

  For example:

  Mum: I went to the hospital yesterday.

  Dad: What did your doctor say?

  Mum: He said that I am a little fat.

  Dad: Do you have to stop eating sweets?

  Mum: No, I don’t have to, but I mustn’t eat too much. I want to keep on a diet.

  Step 3 Presentation

  教师再拿出刚才的蛋糕,闻闻,说It smells good. I think it tastes delicious.然后做个不舒服的表情,说I feel terrible.然后告诉学生smell, taste, feel都是联系动词。

  播放视频Link verbs,讲解联系动词的用法。

  Link verbs(系动词): be, taste, smell, feel, seem, look 后面经常加上形容词、名词、副词和介词短语。

  Step 4 Look, match and read

  Read through the sentences with the students.

  Get the students to match the sentences with the pictures in pairs.

  Then let them look at the pictures and describe them with link verbs.

  准备一些物体或人物图片,如花,水果,女孩(生气的表情)等等,让学生用联系动词造句。如:The flowers smell nice. The apple tastes delicious. The girl seems angry. And so on.

  Step 5 Reading

  Ask students What do you want to become when you grow up? Let them discuss and talk about it.

  Showing the pictures of Nightingale and Bethune, ask the students whether they know the two person.

  学生可能对白求恩比较了解,可以让学生来谈谈他们对这两个名人的了解。然后老师告诉学生有关这两人的事迹。

  One is Florence Nightingale, the other is Henry Norman Bethune. 南丁格尔是有名的护士,对世界医学界有不朽的贡献;白求恩是著名的加拿大医生,他在中国抗日战争时期来到中国,帮助中国人民。教育学生向他们学习。

  播放动画:Nightingale and Bethune,一边看图片展示,一边听他们的生平简介。

  Teach the words rich and become.

  Play the tape for the students to listen and repeat.

  Ask them to learn more about Florence Nightingale and Dr. Henry Norman Bethune.

  Step 6 Exercises in class

  4. Don’t shout and knock at the door so loudly.
