六、教学过程
Step1热身复习,导入新课
1.Revise these following questions.
Who is on duty today? I am.
Is everyone here, today? Yes, everyone is here.
What day is it today? Today is Wednesday.
2.Play a game. The teacher says the parts of the body, and the students points to their own parts of their bodies. The student who can point to the parts of his body correctly as many time as he could is the winner.
3.Show the whole class a big box and many other objects, such as a pen, an eraser. Then ask the whole class “What’s this? Is it big? Is it small? Is it full? Is it empty? Is it heavy? Is it light?”并要求学生用这些问题进行同桌操练,以掌握heavy, light, full, empty等形容词。
4, Ask and answer between the teacher and a student. The teacher uses the objects on this student’s desk, and asks him these questions:
Could I have your pen? Certainly. Here you are.
Could you put it in this box? OK.
Can you take it to the blackboard? Certainly.
This box is heavy now. Could you help me? Certainly. Let me help you. Let’s go.
Then the students can use their own boxes to make a dialogue like it and try to act it out in front of the whole class. 以使学生掌握如何进行请求、提供帮助并知道如何进行应答。
Step2 师生互动,逐步深入
SB Part 1 对话处理
1.Write “Is the box heavy or light? Why is the box light?” on the blackboard. With books closed, play the tape. Students listen and then answer them.
2.Play the tape again and ask the whole class to say after it.
3.Practise the dialogue in pairs.
SB Part 2 对话处理
1.Students listen to the tape with their books closed. Then ask them to answer “Why is the box heavy now?”.
2. Ask the students to open their books and play the tape again and ask the whole class to repeat the dialogue together.
3.Divide the whole class into two groups, and ask them to read the dialogue. One group is for Hu Ming, the other is for Mr Green.
SB Part 3 听力训练
Students read the questions in WB Lesson 66, Ex. 1 before playing the tape. Then play the tape twice, and ask the whole class to finish these exercises.

Step3 巩固拓展,达标反馈
1.将整个课堂分成四个小组,然后要求每个小组结合课本中三个对话,以及自己小组的实际情况,编一个类似于课文的课本剧,并要求脱离课本,在课堂上进行课本剧的表演,并进行评比以资鼓励。
