Step1热身复习,导入新课
1. Warm up. Find out from the students who is on duty. Help the students to revise What day is it today? (Today is Thursday.) Is everyone here today? Is this box heavy or light? Is this bottle empty or full?
Or ask the student on duty to make a report like this:
“Today is Thursday. Everyone is here. This is a bottle. This bottle is not full. It’s empty. That is a box. It is big. It isn’t small…. …”
2.Check yesterday’s homework in the workbook.
Step2 师生互动,逐步深入
SB Part 1和Part2处理
With books closed, have the whole class listen to the tape of Part1 and Part 2 in this lesson. Then Play the tape again and the students repeat these word.
Have the students pay attention to the spelling and pronunciation rulers.

SB Part 5对话处理
1.Have the students listen to the tape about this dialogue with books closed.
2. Have the students to answer this question: What’s on the bed? ( A new skirt.)
3. Have the class read the dialogue aloud together.
4. Have the students parctise the dialogue in pairs and make sure that the students understand these phrases and sentences: in the wardrobe. Let me help you find it. An old one. Let me put it on.
SB Part 6 对话处理
1. Read the introductory passage. Have the students read these sentences aloud and make sure that they understand these phrases: Children’s Day, a young woman from America, too many people, go to the policeman for help.
2. Ask the students to work in pairs. Make a dialogue like this,
W: Excuse me, sir. Could you help me, please?
P: Certainly.
W: I can’t find my son.
P: what’s his name?
W: His name is Devin.
P: How old is he?
W: He is 7 years old.
P: What colour is his shirt?
W: His shirt is red and his trousers are brown.
P: OK. Let’s go and find him. Don’t worry.
W: Thank you very much.
Then have some pairs to read out their dialogues before the whole class.
Checkpoint 17
Have the class read through the checkpoint 17 carefully. If there are some questions, the teacher should solve them for the students.
Step3 巩固拓展,达标反馈
1. Give each student a picture like the picture in Part 3 of this lesson. Ask them to write out the names of every part of a body.
2.Play the game “Listen and touch”. Have the students listen to the teacher. Touch their own part of body when they hear it.(可以进行下列比赛:让全班学生都站起来,教师说人体部位的英语名称,学生用手碰这些部位,不正确的坐下,然后看谁最后坐下,谁就是胜利者。)
