Step 1 Revision
1. Duty report.
2. Check the dialogue the Ss have learned last class, let some Ss act it out.
3. Point to a pen or book and ask:Is that my pen/book?Then ask the other Ss: Is that hers or his?for review these words: mine, yours, her, his, etc.。
Step 2 Presentation
1. Let the Ss talk about objects with these constructions:
That’s a nice pencil. Whose is it?
It’s mine.
Is this yours?
No, that isn’t mine. It’s his.
2. Draw a sad face named: Oh dear!
Give examples to set up for very anxious appearance:Oh dear!Where’s my watch?
I can’t find it. Explain Oh dear is used to show anxious or sad。
3. Take a pen with you, practice this dialogue:
A: Oh dear!My pen is broken. Can you mend it?
B: Let me have a look. Yes,I think I can.
A: Thanks very much.

Step 4 Read and act
1. Look at the picture, ask:What’s wrong with Lily’s plane? Who can mend it?etc..
2. Listen and follow。
Explain :What’s wrong with it ? What’s wrong with + n. /pron.? Do you have a knife?Point out the word knife’s plural form is knives.
Step 5 Presentation
1. Draw a picture in which a girl is crying。
Ask:What’s wrong with the girl’s kite? Can she mend it?
2. Listen to the tape the second time, Let the Ss read together. Let them choose the property pronoun from the column to replace her.
3. Practice in pairs with different pronoun and broken objects.
TV is broken. There is no picture and colour. (Stress: no = not a /not any)
