六、教学过程
Step1热身复习,导入新课
1. Warm up. Ask the student on duty to say something about sport games.
2. Books open. Make the whole class listen to the tape of Part 1 in Lesson 80 carefully. Then ask them to say the words after the tape. At last the teacher explains the pronunciation rules.(向学生解释这些字母组合的发音规则)
3. Books open. Make the whole class listen to the tape of Part 2 in Lesson 80 carefully. Then ask them to say the sentences after the tape. At last the teacher explains the stress and intonation rules.(向学生解释这些句子的重音和语调规则)
4. Books open. Make the students listen to the tape of the poem in Part 3. Then the teacher explains the meaning of the poem to the whole class. At last ask them to say after the tape.
5.Listen and answer. First give the students two minutes to read through the questions on Pages 92 and 93. Then play the tape three times . At last ask them to find the right answers and check them out. (1.B 2. C 3. C)

SB Part 6 短文处理
1. Books open. Ask the students to listen to the tape of this part twice carefully. Then ask them answer these questions:
Is Jim good at playing basketball?
Who is his favourite basketball player?
Is Jim on the school basketball team?
When do they play basketball?
What about Mike?
2. The teacher explains some phrases to the class.

3. Make the whole class repeat the short passage after the tape. Then ask them to read it together.
4. Make short reports about his own classmates according to Part 6 of this lesson.(仿照课文第六部分的形式,结合自己班级中同学的实际情况,编简短的报告,并当堂向同学汇报。)
5. Ask the whole class to go through Checkpoint 20. Tell the whole class how to use the word “can” and Imperatives sentences.
Step3 巩固拓展,达标反馈
1. Finish this task. Give the students five minutes to work in pairs and finish this form:
2. Learn the English song. First listen to the tape about this song some times and then ask them to sing after the tape. At last ask the class to sing it together or ask some boys and girls to sing one by one.
3. Work in class. Finish some exercises about this lesson.
