创设情景设计话题，使语法项目在交际活动和完成任务中得到熟练的掌握。
四． 教学过程
Step 1 趣味导入
Show the students the maps of China, England ,Japan, France, Australia, Canada and the USA
Let them guess Which country it is.Then show the flags of the countries.Connect the maps with the flags.
拿出地图展示一下，然后拿出各国的国旗，把国旗和国土连接起来。
Step 2 学习新知
1.Ask the students: Where is Keqiao?
The students may answer: It’s in Shaoxing .
2.Then ask :Where are you from?
Help the students answer:I’m from Keqiao .
I’m from Sichuan.
I’m from Jiangxi .
…..
Ask some students where they come from.
3.The teacher ask: How do you like Keqiao?
Help the students to answer: I like it very much.
The teacher then ask: What do you like about Keqiao?
Help the students to answer: I like the people here.I like ….here.
4. Practise: Where are you from?
How do you like ….?
What do you like about…?
Step 3. 听力测试
Listen to Part 2,then answer: Where’s David from?
Where are Tom and Ann from?
Tell the students:Where are you from ? means Where do you come from?
Read the dialogues.
Step 4 对话练习
1.Listen to Part 3 and answer: Where does Jim come from?
How does he like China?
Can he speak Chinese?
Where do the Twins come from?
How do they China?
What do they like about China?
2. Read the dialogues after the tape.
Step 5. 调查汇报
In groups,Ask the students :Where are you from?/Where do you come from?
How do you like …?
What do you like about …./
Make a survey and write it down.
