一、教学目的和要求(Teaching aims and demands)

  1.知识目标:学习下列新单词和词组:enjoy oneself, come along, return

  2.能力目标:培养学生听说读写的综合能力。

  3.情感目标:教育学生去追求人生较高层次的快乐。

二、教学重点和难点(Key points and difficult points)

1.巩固反身代词的用法。

2.用英语表达自己的思想。

三、教学方法(Teaching methods)

  1.创设情景,采用情景教学法。

  2.采用任务型教学法。

四、教学过程(Teaching procedures):

 1.热身准备,导入新课

(1)教师提问关于Beethoven的故事,尽可能让学生运用新词汇进行回答。

(2)请学生运用英语讲述课文内容。

  (3)教师讲述:I think Beethoven was a very kind man. He liked to help people in trouble. I think when Beethoven himself played for the blind girl and the young man, they were very happy. Do you agree with me? The blind girl had a god time. In another word, she enjoyed herself. The young man enjoyed himself. They enjoyed themselves.板书如下:

     enjoy oneself = have a good time

(4)用下列对话练习运用enjoy oneself:

A: What are you going to do tomorrow?

B: I’m going to have a picnic.

A: Enjoy yourself.

B: Thank you..

2.自然过渡,导入课文

(1)教师介绍: Today we are going to talk about Mr. More and Mr. Little. Mr. More was very rich. He had a lot of money. But Mr. Little was very poor. He didn’t have much money. Who enjoyed himself, Mr. More or Mr. Little? Now listen and find the answer to the question?

(2)听短文后回答问题,然后讨论课文中的问题,解释buy oneself sth = buy sth for sb.

(3)学生小组内讨论并完成下列表格:

Friends

Did he enjoy himself?

Mr. More

 

 

 

 

Mr. Little

 

 

 

 

教师和学生总结:Friends are more important than money.

3. 师生合作,巩固知识

  (1)教师介绍:Sarah’s friends are going on a trip tomorrow. They are asking Sarah to go with them. Let’s listen and find out the answer to the questions: Will Sarah go with them? Why or why not?

 学生带着问题听,然后回答:She will not go with them. Because she will have to look after her brother tomorrow. Her brother is too young to take with.

(1)  师生朗读对话并猜测下列新词汇的意义:

 come along           return = come/be/get back

have a nice weekend

(2)  做巩固对话的练习

不看课文,补全对话:

A: Hi, Lucy. We are going to __________ a trip tomorrow. Would you like to come along?

B: I’d __________ to, but __________ my parents are at work. My brother is too young to look after _____________. I have to stay at home. I can’t go __________ my mother returns.

C: Why don’t you take your brother out __________ you?

B: Oh, no! He may __________ himself and my parents will be worried.

A: You are right. You must stay at home. We’ll go together next time.

B: I ___________ you enjoy _____________.

C: Have a nice weekend _____________ your brother.

(3)  搞一个调查:If you have lots of money, what will you do?在小组内调查,并完成下列表格,并作汇报:

What will you buy?

    汇报如下:In our group. Li Lei will buy …, because ….

   (4)搞一个辩论赛,题目为:正方Money is the most important; 反方 Money is not the most important

教师先介绍:Now let me ask a question. Do you think money is very important? Is it the most important? OK, let’s have a debate. This side think money is the most important. The other side think money is not the most important. You can have three minutes to get ready for it. You can discuss or write down your words.
