一、教学目的和要求(Teaching aims and demands)

  1.知识目标:学习下列新单词和词组:cookies, leave something behind

  2.能力目标:培养学生综合运用英语的能力。

二、教学重点和难点(Key points and difficult points)

全面巩固和复习反身代词,使学生能熟练灵活运用。

三、教学方法(Teaching methods)

  1.创设情景,采用情景教学法。

  2.采用任务型教学法。

四、教学过程(Teaching procedures):

  1.热身准备,导入新课

(1)    复习反身代词,在黑板上列出反身代词如下:

单数: myself  yourself  himself  herself  itself

复数: ourselves  yourselves  themselves

(2)    教师介绍反身代词与by 连用,如:live alone = live all by oneself.总结by oneself means 靠自己,单独。教师继续介绍反身代词表示”亲自“。如: How I wish I could hear Beethoven himself play it.

(3)    教师介绍: We can use these words with verbs. Can you say these verbs?

教师和学生一起总结下列词组如下:

enjoy oneself             hurt oneself           look after oneself

teach oneself = learn all by oneself             help oneself to

wash oneself              dress oneself          buy oneself

say to oneself            lose oneself in       

(4)    请学生用上上述动词词组并编成对话,如:

A: Hello, Did you enjoy yourself last night?

B; I’m afraid I didn’t. Because I had too much homework to do.

A: Oh, I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you can enjoy yourself tonight.

B: Thank you.

为提高效率,教师可以把11个动词词组分给每个小组,这样四小组准备三个对话,尽可能地让大多数同学呈现他们的对话。

   2.师生互动,由浅入深

(1)教师介绍:Now let’s learn the dialogues in our book.学生打开课本,跟读课文,猜测并讲解下列新词汇的意思:

cookies , a small kind of sweet cakes

leave something behind , forget to take something with

(2)读对话,让学生进行表演。

(3)完成课文第二部分,强调hit his leg on a table 的用法。

(4)做听力,听短文并完成表格。

3.自然过渡,导入下一环节

(1)结合听力材料中的回答引入并列句。

如:Her mother taught her how to make them, and now she can make them all by herself.

   They are only seven years old, but they try to do everything themselves.

(2)完成课文第四部分造并列句的操练。

4. 师生合作,巩固知识

(1)写作练习,完成课文第五部分写感谢信。先请每个学生自己单独写,最好请一个中等的学生到黑板上写,可以当堂批改,提高效率,然后请优秀生宣读较好的文章,最后教师呈现自己的范例如下:

 Dear Han Mei,

 Thank you again for inviting us to your home. We really enjoyed the evening. We’ll never forget the great food! We’d like to invite you home for dinner next Friday. We hope you can come.

(3)做巩固练习
