六、教学过程

Step1热身复习，导入新课

1. Warm up. Ask the whole class to sing the English song “Let your kite fly high” on Page 20.

2. Show the class the picture of a lake, some fish and a boat. Ask the students “What is this? What are they? Where are they?”以教授boat, lake等生词。

Step2 师生互动，逐步深入

SB Part 2 图片处理

1. Ask the students to look at the pictures of Part 2 in Lesson 90, or use the pictures in the SB. Ask and answer between the teacher and the students.

What is happening in Picture 1?    They are going to the park.

What is happening in Picture 2?    They are boating in the middle of the lake.

What is happening in Picture 3?    They are eating bread.

What is happening in Picture 4?    They are watching the fish.

 … …                        They are throwing bread to the fish.

2. Ask the students to practise in pairs like Step1.

3. Give the class some time to make a short story with the help of the pictures in the books. For example:

Mrs Smith and her children David and Joy are going to the park. They are boating in the middle of the lake. They are eating bread. They are hungry. They are watching the fish… ….

SB Part 1 对话处理

1.Revise the names of a body ( long hair, long arms, ) Ask and answer in pairs.（以师生对话的方式复习第17单元中身体部位的名称。）

2.Play a game “Listen and touch”

The students listen to their teacher. Touch their own part of body when they hear the names of the body.

3.Look at the pictures and describe the people like this:

 The girl has long hair. Her hair is black. Her eyes are big and black. Her mouth is small. She has long arms and legs. She is tall. She is wearing a shirt. Her favourite sport is swimming. She is good at it.

Then ask them to say the passage by themselves, and ask them to say one by one.

Step3 巩固拓展，达标反馈

1. Ask the students to interview their classmates and fill in the form.

Then ask the students to make a short report about their classmates like the short story in Part 1 of Lesson 90.

At last invite some students to make a report in front of the whole class. For example:

Lucy has long hair. Her hair is black. Her eyes are big and black. Her mouth is small. She has long arms and legs. She is tall. She is wearing a shirt. She is reading English now. Her favourite sport is playing basketball. She is good at playing basketball. She can also swim.

2. Work in class. Finish some exercises about this lesson.

根据汉语完成句子。
