JEFC Book2 Unit24 Lesson94 一、教学目的和要求(Teaching aims and demands) 1.知识目标: A.学习下列新单词和词组:get on well with, neighbour, ever, upstairs, take off, boots, downstairs, rather, be angry with, as usual, the sound of B.理解文章。 2.能力目标:培养学生听说读写的综合能力,着重为阅读能力的培养。 3.情感目标:让学生体会到注意到公共道德的重要性,以及如何有利地处理好邻里间,或是同学间的关系。 二、教学重点和难点(Key points and difficult points) 1.熟练掌握新词汇。 2.培养正确的阅读习惯,掌握阅读方法。 3.熟练运用新学的和已经掌握的词汇复述文章内容并且表达自己的思想。 三、教学方法(Teaching methods) 1.创设情景,采用情景教学法。2.采用任务型教学法。 四、教学过程(Teaching procedures): 1.热身准备,导入新课 (1) 结合上一堂课的调查活动,让学生一问一答如下: n What were you doing at six yesterday evening? n I was doing my homework. What about you? n So was I. / Oh, I wasn’t. (2) 教师可以接着问一些比较有意思的问题,比如: What were you doing at 11:00 last night? What were you doing when I came into the classroom? What were you doing at this time yesterday? (3)教师结合图片介绍课文内容并呈现新词汇。 This was a tall building in Moscow. Many people lived in it. Let’s talk about these two people. I’m sorry we don’t know their names. This man lived upstairs. This man lived downstairs. Let’s call them the man upstairs and the man downstairs. They lived near to each other. We call them neighbours.Neighbours means people living near each other. How did they get on with each other. Did they get on well or badly with each other? Look! What was the man upstairs doing? He was taking off his boots. What was the man downstairs doing ? He was trying to sleep. But he couldn’t. Can you guess why from the picture? Yes, the man upstairs took off his boots and threw them on the floor. It made too much noise. How did the man downstairs feel? He felt rather angry with the man upstairs.That was really a problem. What did he do with this problem? 2.自然过渡,导入阅读 (1) 让学生带着问题快速阅读并且找出答案:He went upstairs to talk with the man upstairs.教师继续问:Did the man upstairs agree to stop throw boots? 学生快速阅读并回答:Yes, he did.教师又提问:Could the man sleep well the next evening? Why or why not?要求学生快速阅读,回答问题。学生回答:No, he still couldn’t. Because he was waiting for the sound of the other boot. The man upstairs threw the first boot as usual. Then he remembered the man downstairs. (1) 要求学生仔细阅读,回答下列问题: 1) Where did the man live? Why did he like to live there? 2) What did the man upstairs always do when he came back home every night? 3) What was the man downstairs trying to do at this time? 4) How did the man downstairs feel when he heard the noise every night? 5) What did he ask the man upstairs not to do? 6) What did the man upstairs say to him? 7) What happened the next evening? 8) What can you learn from the story? 在问答的过程中让学生猜测并讲解新词组和句型。注意过去进行时的用法。特别是下列句型: He found it difficult to sleep. Would you please not do this?(强调不加to) He was just falling asleep when there was a loud knock at the door. I was waiting for the sound of the other boot.: 3.任务布置、拓展运用 (1)朗读课文,为根据关键词复述作准备。 1) Liked living there, one problem, take off boots, heard the noise, Found it hard, angry with, 2) Decided to talk, with a smile, drop, Would you please 3) The next evening, as usual, remembered, just fall asleep when, wait for the sound of 请学生根据关键词复述课文。 (2) 做一些巩固练习 (该题改编自励耘精品系列丛书初二《课时导航》(下)P58第2大题) 根据首字母补全所缺的单词: 1. The man lives near your home. You are n___________. 2. Listen! There is a k_________ on the door. Somebody is out of the door. 3. I fell fast a_________ when I lay in bed. 4.
