六、教学过程

Step1热身复习,导入新课

1. Warm up. Ask the student on duty to say something about himself. For example:

My name is Jim. I am in Class 2 Grade 2. I am in China now. I am learning Chinese. I have many friends here.

Then give the whole class some minutes to say something about themselves like the student on duty.

2. Revision. Use some pictures about some people and revise “Who is this? Where is he / she? What is she / he doing? What is he / she wearing? Where is he / she from? What is happening?”

3. Get some students to ask the questions. Then practise in pairs. (此项训练重点在于复习现在进行时态以及如何用英语问某人的籍贯。)

4. Play a game. Perform an action. Ask “What am I doing?” Get the students to guess “ Are you making a cake?” The student who guesses correctly then comes to the front of the classroom and performs an action for the class to guess.

Step2 师生互动,逐步深入

SB Part 1听力材料处理

1. SB Page 33, Part 1. Listening to the tape. First let the students look at the table in Wb Lesson 91, Ex.2 before playing the tape . Play the tape three times.

2. Then ask the students to fill in the blanks in the table in the Wb Lesson 91.

(Lucy: green trousers, blue blouse, brown shoes.  Lily: blue trousers, yellow sweater)

3. After checking the answers, make the class listen to the tape again. If the students still can’t understand the dialogue, the teacher should explain some new words or hard phrases to them.

SB Part 2对话处理

1. Look at the pictures in Part 2 of Lesson 91. Ask the students to describe the two pictures. Ask “ What are they wearing? What is happening? What are they looking for? Where are they?”

Then help the class to answer the questions.

2. Books open. Play the tape twice and ask the students to find out the answer to this question “Where is Wang Ling from?”

then help the students to answer this question.

3. Play the tape again. Ask the whole class to repeat the dialogue.

4. Make the students practise the dialogue in groups. And then invite some groups to act it our.

Step3 巩固拓展,达标反馈

1. Divide the class into groups of three and do a role-play.

Tell the students that they are in an airport and one of them has lost something. They may use the dialogue in the text as a model and make a similar dialogue. (可以将全班级分成男生和女生两大组进行表演比赛。)

2. Workbook Lesson 91. Ask the students to make a dialogue with the help of the information in this exercise. Then ask some groups to act it out.

3. Work in class. Finish some exercises about this lesson.
